There are two crystal forms of Si3N4, namely α-Si3N4 (granular crystal) and β-Si3N4 (long column or needle crystal), all of which belong to hexagonal crystal system, which are three-dimensional space composed of [SiN4] tetrahedron sharing apex angle.
